Of course, no material is omnipotent in the world, so PEEK with such high performance naturally has some disadvantages.
The Disadvantages Of PEEK
- Expensive and suitable for very demanding applications;
- Peek needs to be processed and 3d printing peek at high temperature; easily corroded by certain acids, such as concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid, chromic acid, and easily attacked by the chemical structure of halogens and sodium;
- Low UV resistance.
